Polterguys Pages 1-7

Hooray! Thanks for stopping by to read my first graphic novel. I’m pretty excited to be sharing this with you (and on my birthday, too!) I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect launch date.

I know it’s almost NOT news to launch a comic online nowadays but if you can imagine the sheer effort to create something over a period of several months trying to make sure what results is something you can be proud of – it’s a lot of hard work that almost always is taken for granted.

I’ve always dreamed of producing an original long-format comic. I think the comic publishing landscape today is exciting and presents a lot of opportunities for aspiring comic artists. The approach I’m taking for Polterguys is a hybrid of a traditional webcomic and a graphic novel produced in one sitting. As with all experimental methods, anticipate some klunks along the way. I’m hoping to minimize issues but just let me know if you have any problems reading the comic.

I’m sharing this book for free online to help find an audience for it so if you happen to enjoy Polterguys, please tell your manga and comic-loving friends about it, too. Word of mouth really helps!

Updates will be every Saturday morning here on my website. I’ve decided to upload pages by scenes so you can get a good chunk of story every week . and the comic should continue leading up to the release of Polterguys Vol. 1 in print form on Jun 29, 2012 – the first day of Anime Expo.
